  1. الصين تدخل المزيد من مقاتلات السو-35 الروسية “Flanker-E” الصنع في سلاحها الجوي وتظهر 5 مقاتلات منها لاول مرة في تمرين جوي بجوار طائرة Ilyushin Il-76TD China receives new batch of Russian advanced Su-35 fighter jets Dec 1, 2017 | China , Russia China has taken delivery the newt batch of the Sukhoi Su-35 “Flanker-E” fighter jets from Russia. Live flight-tracking website Flightradar24 also noted that an Ilyushin Il-76TD transport aircraft made by Volga-Dnepr (RA-76952), a Russian charter company, departed from Komsomolsk-on-Amur making its way to Cangzhou-Cangxian Airbase in China’s northern province of Hebei, where the Komsomolsk-on-Amur Aircraft Production Association (KnAAPO) builds Su-35s. The Il-76TD transport aircraft was accompanying the five Su-35 fighter jets. The aircraft made a flight from Russia to China in the group. The People’s Liberation Army Air Force (PLAAF) currently possesses Su-35 “Flanker-E” fighter jets out of 24 aircraft. China confirmed in November 2015 that it signed a $2 billion contract with Russia for the acquisition of 24 Su-35s, following more than five years of on-again, off-again negotiations for the aircraft. On December 25, the first Su-35 “Flanker-E” fighter jets of PLAAF landed at Suixi Airbase in Guangdong Province, the nearest Chinese airbase to the South China Sea. China bought a large number of Su-27 and Su-30 multirole fighter jets from Russia in the 1990s and early 2000s. China also has built licensed variants. These Sukhoi planes are a pillar of the PLA Air Force and the PLA Navy’s aviation wing.
  2. تايوان تختبر صورايخ كروز stand-off جديدة في مقاتلتها F-CK-1D في سلاحها الجوي الصواريخ مفترض تكون بمدي 240 كم AFM recently received photos of a Republic of China Air Force (ROCAF) F-CK-1D aircraft carrying a rarely seen stand-off cruise missile. The Indigenous Defense Fighter was seen landing at Taitung during weapons trials on September 25, one of three examples taking part. The base is home to Tactical Training & Development Center (TTDC) that loans aircraft from other units as required. The missile is called the Wan Chien (Ten Thousands Swords) and is produced by the military-run Chung Shan Institute of Science and Technology (CSIST). The conventionally armed weapon broadly resembles the MBDA SCALP/Storm Shadow and the Raytheon AGM-154 Joint Standoff Weapon (JSOW). Powered by a turbojet engine, it is reportedly capable of attacking targets at a range of 240km. Even though the missile has been known about since 2011 and was publicly displayed in 2014, its development has made slow progress due to political constraints. The ROCAF’s fleet F-CK-1A and two-seat F-CK-1B aircraft has recently undergone an avionics and weapons upgrade, bringing them up to F-CK-1C and F-CK-1D standard, respectively. This may include Wan Chien compatibility. The first batch of six aircraft had been completed by June 2011, with all 71 examples scheduled to have received their upgrades by the end of 2012. 3. قامت الهند بتركيب محركات مستعمله علي 18 مقاتلة من اسطولها من su-30 MKI وهذا يمثل خطورة علي طائرات الصف الاول ف البلاد بجانب المخاطرة بحياة الطيارين. India’s Su-30MKI fighter jets has been fitted secondhand engines India has fitted at least 18 of brand new Sukhoi Su-30MKI fighter jets with already-used and secondhand AL-31FP engines, compromising safety and capability of the country’s frontline fighter aircraft besides posing risk to the life of pilots “It was noticed while checking the records…that AL 31FP engines fitted in certain aircraft was in Cat B condition at the time of inspection/delivery to Indian Air Force (IAF),” Deccan Chronicle reported quoting an un-named report as its findings. “Without the knowledge and approval of the defence ministry, what is surprising is the acceptance of such aircraft by the IAF,” said the report summarizing its findings. The daily did not mention the origin of the report. Certain aircraft with one new and one old engine were wrongly accepted by IAF and the Directorate General of Aeronautical Quality Assurance. As these arrangements were not in tune with contractual provisions, it should have been rejected by IAF and Directorate General of Aeronautical Quality Assurance (DGAQA). In any case, IAF should have obtained approval from MoD for accepting aircraft with one secondhand engine. India has about 230 operational fighters although just half is available for operational flights at any given point of time. Besides, About 7 Sukhoi 30 MKIs have crashed to date, resulting a loss of about Rs 2,350 crore. The Saturn AL-31 is a family of military turbofan engines. It was developed by Lyulka, now NPO Saturn, of Soviet Union, originally for the Sukhoi Su-27 air superiority fighter. The AL-31FP is an improved variant for the Indian Su-30MKI with thrust vectorin Deccan Chronicle radio.gov.pk
